Ask a Guru / Id on a revolver .
« on: December 30, 2011, 08:48:08 PM »
Probably posted in the wrong spot hope i didn't make anyone sore .
 So im trying again.

I own two Bp revolvers one has a top strap the other doesn't after  some research i  believe they may both be Italian.
One has only one marking three letters that seem to be backward.
no serial number  or identifing marks

The other pn with a   star or a sun above and ad in a square beside them.
Serial number on the butt of the handle 070264 also on the barrel there's the same  symbols  and for black powder only made in italy.
octagon barrel   the whole revolver around 12 inches long  top strap  brass trigger guard  the rest is steel.
wood grips unfortunate its not blued.
Would like to find parts to fix it or a gun smith to look at it.
the other one  a bit of a mystery .
 All help appreciated.
